BTS's 'Dynamite' Remains Unwavering For Its 10th Week In the Top 20 Of Billboard's Hot 100
It seems that the Dynamite saga of BTS is yet to conclude as it spends another week on Billboard's Hot 100 for the 10th time!
Billboard's Hot 100 is a chart that ranks the most popular songs in the United States. The songs ranked are from all genres based on radio airplay, streaming, and sales data.
For the week ending November 7 in the Hot 100, Dynamite is still included by taking the No. 12 spot. Previously, the English-language single made history when it debuted on August 21 at the top of the chart, and it has spent three non-consecutive weeks in No. 1 over its run.
In the chart for ten weeks, Dynamite ties with BTS's MIC Drop remix from 2017 as their longest-running track on the Hot 100. It can be recalled that the song MIC Drop also spent its 10th week on the Hot 100. It ranked at the No. 98th position for the 10th week ending February 10, 2018.
On the Pop Songs radio airplay chart, Dynamite is also at No. 9 this week, No. 2 on the Global 200, No. 2 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and on the Digital Song Sales chart, No. 3. On the Artist 100, BTS is No. 3 and once again tops the Social 50 chart.
Currently, BTS is gearing up for releasing their new album BE, which will be on November 20.
Dynamite Soars To Top 10 Of Billboard's Pop Songs Radio Airplay Chart
On November 3, Billboard also announced that the song Dynamite rises from No. 11 to No. 9 for the week ending on November 7. The track achieved a 6 percent gain on the chart. Notedly, this is the 11th week that Dynamite has stayed on the Pop Songs chart. The chart measures the total weekly plays on approximately 160 mainstream top 40 radio stations.
Before the English track Dynamite was released last year, BTS peaked with Boy With Luv featuring Halsey at No. 22. with "Boy With Luv" (featuring Halsey) previous year.
According to Billboard's report, BTS has achieved the highest ranking on the Pop Songs chart for an all-South Korean act. This is because they have surpassed the No. 10 peak reached by Gangnam Style of Psy in October 2012.
