BLACKPINK And BTS Achieve Double Crown In Gaon Weekly Charts
Gaon chart has now revealed the October 4 to October 10 chart rankings for album chart, download chart, Overall Digital Chart, Streaming Chart, and social chart!
After topping both the physical album chart and the social chart this week, BLACKPINK achieved a double crown. BTS also earned a double crown after grabbing both the overall digital and streaming charts for the seventh consecutive week with Dynamite.
Here is the chart's top five for each of this week below!
Album Chart
The first full-length album of BLACKPINK, THE ALBUM, debuted at No. 1 on this week's physical album chart. The new single album of Golden Child Pump It Up entered the chart at No. 2, and the debut mini-album of WEi, IDENTITY: First Sight, positioned at No. 3.
The repackaged album of Stray Kids, "IN生" ("IN LIFE"), climbed back up the rankings to No. 4 this week. The album was previously debuted at No. 1 on the chart. WJSN's new sub-unit CHOCOME rounded out the top five with debut single album "Hmph!"
Download Chart
Topping the download chart is the project group of "How Do You Play?" Refund Expedition's new track Don't Touch Me.
Taking the No. 2 spot is BLACKPINK's new title track Lovesick Girls, which debuted at No. 1 on last week's chart. This is followed by Dynamite, the long-running hit of the group, at No. 3.
Lastly, the OST of the SBS drama "Do You Like Brahms?" titled happy by EXO's Baekhyun debuted at No. 4 on the chart. The new ballad of Super Junior's Kyuhyun, Daystar, entered the chart at No. 5.
Social Chart
BLACKPINK remains at the No. 1 on Gaon's Social Chart 2.0 for the 20th consecutive week. The trot singer Im Young Woong and BTS also held onto their spots at No. 2 and 3. Meanwhile, rising at No. 4 spot this week is EXO and rounding the top 5 is The Boyz.
Overall Digital Chart + Streaming Chart
The overall digital chart and the streaming chart's top five songs were the same this week. This includes BTS's Dynamite, which remained No. 1 on both charts for the seventh week in a row, BLACKPINK's Lovesick Girls at No. 2, followed by B1A4's Sandeul's Slightly Tipsy at No. 3, When We Disco of Park Jin Young and Sunmi at No. 4, and the NUNU NANA of Jessi at No. 5.
