Korean Culture Centre UK Is Slated To Hold The First 'Hallyu Con 2020 Live in London'
The Korean Cultural Centre has announced the first 'Hallyu Con 2929 Live in London' event!
On October 4 (Sunday), the one-day event will be held as it aims to celebrate and exhibit the Hallyu or the renowned Korean wave in many kinds. The virtual concert will be broadcasted live from London via live stream at precisely 3 P.M. KKCUK's official Youtube channel will air the said concert.
As per Kpopstarz, the online festival will mark as the country's ultimate Korean pop culture event, gifting K-pop fans performances and showcases from various artists. The said event will be all for free, not just for London but also for everyone across the globe.
"The festival will provide an opportunity to introduce a new aspect of Korea to UK audiences and reveal how Korea has become a cultural hub connecting people around the world," Lee Jung-woo said, the head of KCCUK.
The upcoming event will be presented by two of the country's most-sought K-Pop Youtubers, Lexi Marie and Kai Mastro. On the other hand, performances by K-pop groups VAV, ACE, AlphaBAT, and Alexa will grace the show. Adding to the list of performers are R&B artists PLT and Seung Yeon Son, as well as indie artists Turning Table and Earth and Folk Ensemble Micro Universe.
The performances of each artist will tag along with the Korean innovation, showing the distinct characteristics of the Korean culture, including film, fashion, beauty, and dance.
Furthermore, the Korean beauty segment will be facilitated by Beauty & Seoul Founder and CEO Maree Kindler.
The upcoming online event is in support of Children And Families Across Boarders (CFAB), in line with the damage caused by the COVID-19 global pandemic. Viewers will be given a chance to donate during the event through a link to KCCUK's official Youtube site. The proceeds will be utilized in helping families and children of CFAB.
