‘Record Of Youth’ Shares Reasons To Look Forward In Its Premiere
“Record of Youth,” the tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama, has finally aired!
The drama series “Record of Youth” is about young people who struggled to achieve their dreams despite the harsh realities of life in the modeling industry. Park Bo Gum, who played as Sa Hye Joon, is an aspiring model and actor.
Starring also is Park So Dam as Ahn Jung Ha, who is an aspiring makeup artist. Another star is Byun Woo Seok as Won Hae Hyo, a model that wanted to reach success in his ways.

The viewers were already curious about how the three leading roles will portray their characters.
Park Bo Gum expressed his hopes on his upcoming project that the viewers will ponder upon the real issues displayed in the drama. He also revealed that he tried to portray an ordinary young man trying to chase his goals, which gives anticipation on how the character puts on to the challenge of walking o his path.
Park So Dam will also showcase her different sides as an ambitious young woman like her character. Finally, Byun Woo Seok’s role in the drama aims to recognize his merits and hard work from his family’s background.

Director Ahn Gil Ho shared that it is the story of the youth who were aiming to chase their dreams. He also added that the drama handles different topics encompass different generations. He is also the director of the shows, ‘Forest of Secrets,” Stranger,” ‘Memories of Alhambra,” and “Watcher.”
The story is written by Ha Myung Hee, who also wrote “Doctors” and “Temperature of Love. She was known for her realistic perspective on an emotional story. She shared that the drama is a story of winning and overcoming rather than about the hardships and difficulties of youth realities.

Emphasized in the drama are stories of families supporting the growth of young adults. Also starring in the show were Ha Hee Ra and Shin Ae Ra, who will both portray as the Han Ae Sook and Kim Yi Young mother, respectively, with immensely different values and backgrounds. The viewers most awaited are their ways of showing love and support to their sons who shared the same dreams.
Furthermore, Han Jin Hee will play as Sa Hye Joon’s grandfather Sa Min Ki, who showcased heartwarming and refreshing chemistry with his grandson Sa Hye Joon. Park Soo Young will play Sa Young Nam, Sa Hye Joon’s realistic father, and Seo Sang Won will play as Won Tae Kyung, Won Hae Hyo’s father. Lastly, Lee Jae Won as Sa Hye Joon’s individualistic older brother Sa Kyung Joon, and Jo Yoo Jung as Won Hae Hyo’s intelligent younger sister Won Hae Na.
Brilliant cast and notable cameos
The main characters in the story will grow as they encounter various people in their lives. Some will show support, while others will push them to a bitter reality.
Shin Dong Mi will play as Lee Min Jae, Sa Hye Joon’s passionate rookie manager. Lee Seung Joon as a fashion designer Charlie Jung who adores Sa Hye Joon. Lee Chang-Hoon as CEO Lee Tae Soo, the model agency. In addition to the youthful energy are stars Kwon Soo Hyuk, playing as Kim Jin, who dreams of becoming a photographer.
Another unique and talented cast added are actors Jung Min Sung, Jo Ji Seung, Yang So Min, Park Sae Hyun, Lim Ki Hong, and many more. The show will also feature Seo Hyun Jin, Kim Gun Woo, Kim Hye Yoon, and Seol In Ah.
