CRAVITY Smashes Their Own Sales Record On Hanteo Chart
The South Korean all-boy group CRAVITY put on a spectacular show on their comeback album entitled 'CRAVITY SEASON 2. HIDEOUT: THE NEW DAY WE STEP INTO.' The 9-member band has stormed over their listeners' attention as they made them caught up with their grooving songs and beats, slowly coveting their spot in the K-pop domination.
As the band released their highly-anticipated album, CRAVITY has instantly earned an impressive feat, as per Hellokpop.
In the figures released by Hanteo Chart, CRAVITY hails 82,254 album sales for their sophomore extended play 'CRAVITY SEASON 2. HIDEOUT: THE NEW DAY WE STEP INTO.' Moreover, the album was made available on August 24.
A week went on since its release, and the album dominated the weekly record chart of the same, dating August 24 to August 30. The figures show that the album experienced the rise of demand to 154 percent compared to the band's initial album entitled 'CRAVITY SEASON 1. HIDEOUT: REMEMBER WHO WE ARE,' which was released in April of this year.
Previously, the K-pop nonet was tagged as the most notable rookie group debuted in 2020 by finishing the first rank in the Hanteo's Chart's first-half album chart. Aside from the said chart, the band was also named the same title by Gaon Chart on the 20th spot, iTunes' Top K-pop album chart on the first spot, and in number 12 on the Billboard Social 50.
Indeed, CRAVITY has shown off its growth and immense populace as a global K-pop group. Adding to their list of achievements for this year, the band also bagged the 'Rookie Award' at the recently concluded '2020 Soribada Awards.'
The rookie group mesmerizes their beloved fans with their appearance on various television programs like jTBC's 'Let's Eat Dinner Together' and MBC Every1's 'Weekly Idol.'
