HyunA Reveals Her 2012 MV 'Ice Cream' Got Banned Because Of Her Eyes
HyunA talked about her previous provocative looks and an occurrence in a recent episode of MBC's Radio Star, where her 2012 MV for "Ice Cream" was removed from broadcast stations because of her eyes. HyunA admitted that she now has an approach to choosing outfits because of previous experiences of being excluded from shows.
HyunA stated that the management requires her to conceal a part of her body. They gave her an option to reveal her upper body, but she has to cover her lower body as she revealed how her outfits were often the size of her palm, concluding she always gets banned from music shows. She later proceeded to tell a story about one time when she ended up making a different MV for TV purposes.
But for a wholly distinct and unforeseen cause, the MV ended up getting forbidden still. The MV that was excluded was "Ice Cream," which received a great deal of love from fans for the sexy costumes and dance moves it emphasized. "We did a separate MV to pass the media companies' review that displayed just close up shots of my face. But they restricted it because my eyes were too impulsive." (via Koreaboo)
However, Netizens reacted differently to HyunA's story conveying how everything looks attractive for her, given her perfect body tone and how everything is merely perfect for the K-pop idol.
