K-Dramas Forced To Adjust Theater Releases Due To COVID-19
The agitating decision comes into conclusion caused by the skyrocketing figures of COVID-19 positive cases in South Korea.
Among the South Korean films that have confirmed its premiere date's deferment are 'Space Sweepers,' 'The Swordsman,' 'Stone Skipping,' and 'Collateral.'
'The Swordsman' was previously made known as a "real chase action movie," as per Hellokpop. The said movie revolves around the story of the best sword fighter in Joseon, who has turned his senses on the world. He aims to use is the sole sword in finding his missing daughter.
The cast ensembles hail the unparalleled South Korean action icon Jang Hyuk.
The initial release date of 'The Swordsman' was supposed to occur on September 17, but it was moved to a later date – September 23.
'SPACE SWEEPERS' LEAPED ITS RELEASE TO FALL
The much-awaited Korean movie entitled 'Space Sweepers' is in full gear to leave its viewers speechless on its advanced story concept graces by a star-studded cast.
Unfortunately, the fans would have to extend their patience as the waiting game will last until the fall season.
The film's futuristic story plot is set up in the year 2092, narrating the story of a galaxy vehicle that met a humanoid robot that causes mass destruction.
Song Joong Ki plays the film's protagonist, also playing the space ship's pilot. Joining the lead actor is Kim Tae Ri as Captain Jang and Jin Seon Kyu as Tiger Park. Park Hae Jin portrays the main antagonist.
'COLLATERAL' IS MOVED INTO AN UNDETERMINED RELEASE
The production company of 'Collateral' confirmed its release's announcement date would no longer take place. They have decided to slash out the event to a later date. For the time being, the new release date is still unknown.
The film mentioned above is categorized as a comedy that tells the story of a debt collector and his subordinate who collected a nine-year-old child as collateral to her mother's debt.
The film casts actors Kim Hee Won and Sung Dong Il.
Moreover, 'Stone Skipping' moved its premiere dare from September 9 to September 30.
