Ong Seong Wu Shares His Character's Charms In 'More Than Friends'
Ong Seong Wu's photos of transformation into a free-spirited photographer Lee Soo has shared by JBTC's Upcoming Friday-Saturday drama "More Than Friends!"
"More Than Friends" is an upcoming South Korean television series that tells a story of two friends who had a crush on each another for over ten years, but they just remained friends because of a misunderstanding.
Shin Ye Eun will portray as Kyung Woo Yeo, who works as a calligrapher that, after a decade of pinning, decided to give up on her one-sided love for his friend, whom she had a crush since she was 18 years old.
On the other hand, Ong Seong Wu will play as Lee So, an attractive guy who works as a photographer, and he was the longtime object of Kyung Woo Yeon's affection that later on saw her differently after their many years of friendship.
Ong Seong Wu perfectly fits his role as Lee Soo, a charming guy who was fond of stealing hearts since he was in school in which the new stills raised expectations for the drama. Furthermore, he is also a young and vibrant who reached great success as a photographer.
At a very young age, his parents got divorced, which made a high impact on him, became uninterested and cold to deal with other people, and been selfish when it comes to love. However, when he started taking an interest in his long time friend Kyung Woo Yeon, he changed.
Ong Seong Wu shared that he had been hoping to play in a romantic comedy, and that was when he met Lee Soo, a character of so many charms. He can portray differents sides like being shy, fresh, warm, and energetic.
The actor is excited to greet the viewers with such a character. He also added that although Lee Soo may look so cold and selfish on the outside, he is still warm and considerate. He is so honest about his emotions and finds that character so charming. He is working hard to convey well the feelings and charms that he can feel from Lee Soo.
"More Than Friends" will be available on Viki and premieres on September 18.
