BTS's V is shining brighter than ever, having surpassed 15 million followers on the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify.

Recently, V crossed the 15 million follower mark on Spotify. He joins fellow BTS member J-Hope as the only K-pop solo artists to achieve this milestone.

According to the K-pop exclusive chart show 'K-POP RADAR,' V recorded an increase of 19,621 followers on Spotify in August alone, securing the top spot among solo artists.

Even before his solo debut, V had already amassed 14 million followers with just three OST tracks. With the release of his recent album, he swiftly reached the 15 million mark. His monthly listeners have surpassed 12 million.

As per the data-driven website 'Chart Masters,' only 182 global artists have recorded over 10 million followers on Spotify. This achievement further solidifies V's powerful presence and influence in the global music market.

V's solo debut album 'Layover' made history by becoming the first K-pop solo album to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify in its first week. 'Layover' was streamed a total of 114,487,727 times in its first week. Every track from the album made it to Spotify's Global Weekly Chart, and each song achieved over 10 million streams in the first week.

Beyond these impressive numbers, V has been receiving immense acclaim for his live performances, which often embrace challenging concepts.

On the 15th, V's performance with a band session on the 'Tiny Desk Korea' program, known for its principle of one-take shooting without any post-production or NGs, garnered significant attention.

Furthermore, V's anticipated appearance on Japan's 'The First Take' at 10 PM on the 18th is drawing eyes. This live program, known for broadcasting a single take, including any off-notes, is highly regarded.

V has consistently released self-composed songs that differ from BTS's usual sound, honing his skills as a singer-songwriter. His recent solo activities showcase his evolution as a vocalist, taking his artistry to the next level.
